This year, Women in Security and Privacy (WISP) celebrates a milestone that reflects far more than the passage of time. It marks a decade of building community, expanding access, uplifting underrepresented voices, and creating pathways for women and emerging professionals in security and privacy. Ten years of collective effort. Ten years of global impact. Ten years of showing what is possible when a mission is shared and a community stands together.
To honor this incredible journey, WISP hosted the WISP World Birthday Tour, a worldwide celebration of the people, partnerships, and progress that make WISP such a powerful force for change, supported by Osano. From local gatherings to global virtual events, this tour brings our community together, no matter where you live, work, or connect with WISP.
At the heart of this celebration is the WISP World Birthday Tour Global Virtual Celebration, an open invitation to our entire global community to reflect, celebrate, and look toward the future together.
A Decade of Community, Growth, and Global Reach
WISP has grown from a grassroots organization into a truly global network that spans 16 countries and reaches tens of thousands of professionals. This year alone, we doubled the number of events, expanded local programming, and provided more than 800 scholarships that opened doors to conferences, certifications, and education.
