When Your Expertise Goes Unseen: Closing the Visibility Gap for Women in Cybersecurity

Cybersecurity and tech are built on skill, trust, speed, and judgment. Yet many capable women and diverse professionals remain under-recognized, not because they lack ability, but because their expertise is not always visible in the rooms where decisions, promotions, projects, and opportunities are shaped.

This practical session reframes confidence as a measurable leadership competency, not a personality trait. Using the VISIBLE™ Framework — Voice, Identity, Spotlight, Inner Work, Belief, Leverage, and Elevation — participants will examine how visibility gaps affect career growth, technical credibility, stakeholder trust, communication, and leadership presence in cybersecurity and tech.

Attendees will leave with practical tools to communicate their value, surface their expertise, build stronger professional visibility, and contribute more confidently in high-stakes technical environments. For women in cybersecurity, visibility is not self-promotion; it is how skill becomes recognized, trusted, and positioned for impact.
