PHOTO, VIDEO, AUDIO RECORDING POLICY

This policy applies to all attendees of Women in Security and Privacy (WISP) events, including WISP board members, volunteers, press, and designated photographers and videographers.

At WISP events, photography, video and audio recording may occur. There are usually 2-3 official WISP photographers and/or videographers. All photographers and videographers will have WISP Staff/Volunteer badges or Press/Media badges.

WISP may choose to publish photographs, audio and video recordings on our website and/or social media. WISP further reserves the right to use those photographs and recordings in promotional materials to promote WISP.

If you do not want to be recorded or taken picture of, please notify WISP before the events.

If you wish to take a photo or video, ask for permission from anyone you photograph or record. This includes those in the background of your shot. If you are asked by a participant to delete/blur a picture they did not give you permission to take, do so as soon as possible.
