WISP Local Group Lead

WISP is looking for a WISP Local Group Lead(s) in a metropolitan area(s) in the United States.  This person will oversee the chapter strategy, operations, budget, events, and other initiatives from start to finish and ensure that the chapter is successfully carrying out its duties.

The WISP Local Group Lead will ensure that key WISP partnerships and events are executed smoothly and work with the Leadership Board to brainstorm, plan, and execute WISP priorities at a local level.

 Responsibilities

  • With support from the Leadership Board, build and maintain a new WISP chapter

  • Recruit, motivate, and lead volunteers to support WISP brand and initiatives in the local community

  • Lead and own WISP local group strategy from start to finish -

  • Build and maintain WISP local group budget

  • Maintain awareness of WISP global goals and accomplishments

  • Work with the Leadership Board on WISP overall priorities

  • Advise the Leadership Board on WISP local group strategies

  • Report to the Leadership Board

 Term

  • Minimum 1-year commitment

 Estimated time commitment

  • Participation in monthly meetings and/or conference calls

  • Estimated time commitment: 15-17 hours/month, depending on the needs
